Is there a motel near Hertz on Indian School Road?
I did some checking here to find a very reasonable car rental price at this location for an upcoming trip to the Phoenix area. My question is, does anyone know of a motel in that area (or is it even an area one should stay in)? We'll have to return the car the night before our flight home due to their hours of operation. It would be convenient to be nearby the car rental return site or the airport itself. Someone mentioned that cab fare from this site to the airport is about $20.00. Does that sound about right?

There is a Quality Inn on 3600 2nd Ave that is less than 1/2 mile from Hertz. Also nearby a Red Roof Inn, a Super 8 and a Holiday Inn. The Quality and the Holiday might have free airport transportation.
As for the cab fare, call that particular Hertz location directly and ask. Also ask if they'll drive you to a hotel after you return the car...they probably do. Then ask for a motel recommendation with airport transportation, get advice from a local who works nearby.
