Is there a good restaurant in Maui to take 5 year old on her birthday??

Hello, everyone. My family and I will be in Maui in January, while we are there my daughter will celebrate her 5th birthday. I was wondering if there was a restaurant anyone could recommend that would be fun for her. I am thinking of somewhere that would do a special something for her. Thanks for the input!!!!!

How about a Luau? The Feast at Lele or the Old Lahaina Luau are highly recommended. It would be fun for her to watch the show, and they would probably do a little something special for the birthday.

I was thinking she would like the Maui Ocean Center. Other than that... Bubba Gumps?

I think that Feast at Lele would be a bit mature for a young palette, and the recent concensus among some young visitors at my house was that the OLL was too loud, too long and the food was yucky.

The Sugar Cane Dinner Train is almost always a hit with the younger crowd, and some of the older kid like D, as well. The entertianment consists of hula dome by keiki, followed by hula lessons for those so inclined. I do recall that they did do something for anniversary's, birthdays, etc when we were there last.

I second the Sugar Cain Sugar Train idea. I'm sure your daughter would really enjoy it.

I must have been drinking when I wrote that last message! That is what happens when I try to fire off a quick note in between phone calls and meetings. I meant to say that some older kids, like my dear husband like the SCT as well as the keiki!
