Is there a Fall NYC GTG in the making?
 

I would LOVE to go . I had seen Maitaitom was hoping to go in the Fall and remarks were made about getting a GTG together for those dates. (sometime in October)

If this is not yet organized.. anyone up for one sometime early October?
I hope to be in NYC and DC for 6-8 days early October and after enjoying an Atlanta GTG so much, I am anxious for another one.

Something might come of this, but right now you have no plan, no details. Many of us who live in NYC might have a better idea about attending if we when the GTG actually will be . . . first week of October? second week? I'll be watching for when the plan becomes more definite.

I think the Forum of the place you plan to have the GTG is an excellent place to post a GTG invitation. (I don't spend a lot of time in the Lounge because of all the ridiculous and contentious threads there.)

OK. Just wanted to ask first in case i couldn't find a post that was already out there. If there is none in the making, then I will get onto my personal plans and see if anyone can coincide the few days I will be there!

I also think it is a good idea to post as well in the place the GTG will be. A lot of regulars just don't go to the lounge.

I would attend. I have always wanted to go the GTG in Boston, but I just can't seem to get away in October.

NYC is so much closer from me, though, because I live in Philly. I could take the train in to Penn Station.

I think there was a GTG in Manhattan a few years ago (I remember that Patrick and Lee attended), but the group just got together for drinks.

I still think there are some tentative hopeful plans lurking out there as Maitaitom had mentioned he would most likely be in NYC in October, which generated some comments about a GTG..thus my post request.

I will see how my plans evolve and post here, hoping in the meantime someone else has also tried to put a date on something.
