Something my husband and I love about Boston is the number of wonderful restaurants. We've discovered that we can just wander around and find a great place to eat.
In the North End, I would heartily recommend Assagio and Euno. Legal Seafoods always offers good food, whether or not the "setting" is what you want. The Daily Catch, in tne North End, offers fresh seafood perfectly prepared.
