Is the Flamingo a Hilton hotel?

We have a reservation there and I always see it referred to as the Flaming Hilton but the website doesn't give me that impression.

We are staying there for the location and the pool but I was wondering whether my HiltonHonors status would do me any good. The HH site only refers to the HGVC at the Flamingo. Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks

I recently stayed at the Laughlin Flamingo and had the same question when I checked in as far as Hilton Honors points. Answer was that sometime ago, the Flamingo name ceased being Hilton; therefore, no more Honors points are awarded. They're now managed by Park Place. That's where you'll find their website.

My understanding is that the Hilton people have a vacation club/timeshare type thing very close to LV Flamingo Hotel. This place was listed in last Hilton Honors program junk mail we received. But the actual older Flaimngo Hotel is not a Hilton.

When I called them for reservations this year for our Sept. trip, I was told that they are giving Honors points thru the end of the year-then no more.

Thanks all. This is exactly what I suspected and hopefully I will receive the points.
