is spanish the second language in Canada?
 
Just noticed on the msn browser that the other language choice is espanol with the thingy over the o. so is french no longer spoken in Canada and spanish is now the other language?

French is the second official language in Canada.

There are two official languages in Canada - English and French - and students learn both in school.

It's probably because they're getting the overflow of illegal aliens spilling out of our borders. Hopefully they'll handle it better than we have and not get virtually taken over by them ....

Canada has had its own undocumented worker problems for quite a while. The movie on which <i>Green Card</i> with G&eacute;rard Depardieu was based starts out with a raid on a restaurant in Montreal. It is a much better movie. BTW, according to reported statistics, only 40% of illegal immigrant sneaked across the border; 60% came with valid visas and are overstaying.
