when we did snuba in st. thomas, my husband wore his eyeglasses in the snuba helmet - for snorkeling, he did not invest in the prescription goggles, rather he chose to be fitted for goggles that his eyeglasses
fit underneath - but he does have the prescription ski goggles and they are fabulous, so I am sure the snorkeling ones would be great - he just does not snorkel enough for it to have been worth it.
