Is Sevierville/ Pigeon Forge area a dry county?

Can anyone tell me whether Sevierville or Pigeon Forge area is a dry (no alcohol) county?

Yes, it is a dry county. It has been several years since we were there, but you can drive down the road a couple miles(can"t remember exact distance)and buy alcohol. You can also drive to Gatlinburg which is'nt very far(about 7-8 miles.

No, it is not a totally dry county. You can buy beer and wine but not liquor. If you want liquor you have to go to Gatlinburg.

In Tennessee you can't buy wine in grocery stores, so if you want wine bring it with you or stop at a liquor store for the purchase.

There's a winery at The Apple Barn in Sevierville, but as I remember it wasn't great.
