Is Rocco still part of Rocco's?

Does anyone know if Rocco has left the restaurant? I was going to eat there next week but don't want to bother if he and Mama are no longer around. I know the food is yukky but the curiosity has gotten to me ;;) I have a reservation for Sunday night.

Financial backers have a court order barring DiSpirito from entering Rocco's except by permission from the judge hearing the lawsuit they've filed against him for mismanagement and other charges. So chances are that you won't see Rocco (and his recent alleged browlift and eye job).... His mom is still around, seemingly.

Thank you for the input. I just searched the net and found Rocco was granted a court order to enter Jun 8th. I'd really rather see Mama anyways, just don't want to go if there is a new chef and staff, no mama, etc.

He's such a child. Instead of trying to help China Grill Inc fix what was wrong with the restaurant, he pouted, sulked, and called his lawyer.

Hate to admit I'm even mildly curious, but missed the "final" episode (last Sat.?) of The REstaurant -- would someone care to fill me in on how it wound up/down?

no, no, the latest is R and his mom are up at CIA doing some graduate work, but possibly not as fully bright scholars.

Why don't you look at it as if Rocco & Mama have left the premises, maybe the food is BETTER. I understand it couldn't possibly be worse.

Their 15 min are up.

I only saw a few episodes, and having once worked in hotel & restaurant, the biggest problem with it is that

ROCCO WAS NEVER *AT* THE RESTAURANT even BEFORE HE WAS BARRED.

People don't come to those places to eat, they come for the personalities, to touch "stardom", or to be seen. How many times did you see patrons asking "Where is Rocco?" Had he been onsite, both for the customers and to watch the business itself, it would have been much more successful. "Leona" is right, his 15 minutes is up.

I agree Rocco blew it, but I still love Mama. 84 years old and still working like that! I can only hope to be that full of life when I get older :)

I hope Rocco doesn't read any of these posts. Might force him to go off the deep end.

I posted a review of the restaurant under "Our New York Rants and Raves" which is accessable by clicking my name. Unfortunately, it was just as bad as all the write ups claimed. I don't like to see any business do bad, I sure hope they can fix things.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to go there, given the bitchiness and oddity we've seen on camera.
