Is Rocco fired?

Looks like Rocco might have been fired from his won restaurant. Has he been fired? Is Rocco's closed? Has the service and food improved?

SoBeTraveller May 12th, 2004 09:40 AM

No, he's still on the payroll, missing from duty, and the money guy is plotting his removal. Looks like a power struggle over a third rate place is brewing. Rocco in the meantime is wandering the streets, longing for his former job, and whining he no longer feels at home in his own place. Mom is still handling the meatballs. From initial impressions, the restaurant is still lousy and disorganized. Does he have a father ... some malke influence seems necessary. OK, flame me for saying that ... but he;s tied to her apron strings. All in all, loser TV! Look, what would make this thing zing is to put Frazier and his brother in the kitchen, and Steinfeld on the desk.

whoops, Seinfeld!

I only had to take one look at that business parter of his to figure out he may be a heroin addict. His eyes are black like heroin addicts. And that spy he had sent into the restaurant also has the same heroin eyes. I can see why Rocco (the publicity whore) wants out.

Oh please, you don't have to be a heroin addict to a) have dark eyes, and b) think Rocco needs to GO! That place is a train wreck and Rocco's got full responsibility for having derailed it.

If the restaurant had a dollar for every time someone asked "Where's Rocco?" it would be solvent.

He's much too busy admiring himself to run a restaurant.

I find Rocco to be the most self-indulgent, self-promoting, whinny little boy I have ever seen. I find him to be incredibly annoying and have to wonder how he ever got Union Pacific off the ground. He deserves to be 'out'at Roccos and I hope he will be as he has no idea how to run a business. I'm not saying Jeffrey is a charm, but he does own 22 other restuarants, so I guess he knows what he is doing. PS I am hopelessly addicted to this show, and I'm not one for rreality TV. SoBeTraveller - I love the idea of Seinfeld at the desk

If you really want to know about Rocco's partner check out thesmokinggun.com. Why would anyone get involved with a felon who did time for bilking people out of money?

Didn't they show Rocco's dad at the CIA grad ceremony when Rocco and mom got awards. He was the tiny man in the background looking proud. ahhhhhhh.

SoBeTraveller May 12th, 2004 01:03 PM

... ah, but explain the bananas on the floor. That must have been a symbol. Metaphor? Whaaat!

ah4sail May 12th, 2004 01:08 PM

My daughter, a recent CIA grad, said he was an arrogant sob when he was there for the graduation (not hers thankfully) He expected everyone to fawn all over him.

SoBeTraveller May 12th, 2004 01:20 PM

faux sure!

Shane May 27th, 2004 11:58 AM

Does Rocco get fired Saturday night or not?

soccr May 27th, 2004 12:06 PM

Oh please, if there's a god in restaurant heaven....
