Judy--Yes, it can get chilly down there at night, even in the heart of summer. I will be sort of near there this weekend at Sunriver (just south of Bend) and am looking forward to early walks in the chilly air.

Well the Rembrandt exhibition was unbelievable. It included many other artists (mostly students of Rembrandt) so it was a very comprehensive showing of the art/artists/times during the 1600's.
Had dinner at the new restaurant Terroir - corner of MLK Blvd and Freemont. The have full price and half price meals. It was good and had a pleasant ambiance.

hi beachbum - well had the best meal at Fenoil (you and others have mentioned this place many times). We went between 2 and 5 pm and got an abbreviated meal that includes dishes from their lunch and dnner menu. We had the best meal and the prices are a little less than the full dinner meal. It is exceptional.
Hope you enjoy the Rembrandt art show!
