Is Maui getting alot of rain this month?

We are heading to Maui on the 25th of this month and have been looking at the weather. Seems every time I look it is raining and expected to rain. We have been to Maui many times and I know it can rain off and on but by the reports for next week looks like it is going to rain almost every day.Any body there now that can give me a more accurate report. Thanks

Check out this website. www.mauiweathertoday.com. Good, accurate information regarding weather on Maui as well as the rest of the state.

We got back from Maui last Wednesday after spending 10 days there. We stayed north of Kaanapali. First of all, it was very windy everywhere even in South Maui. We had some sprinkles every day and some heavy rains at night. We drove to Hana and spent two nights. It was drizzly during the day and again rained very hard at night. On the plus, side the waterfalls were great and we saw rainbows every day.

Cerlaurie thanks for the information. When I saw your screen name it rang a bell and sure enough I found a post about you asking about restaurants on the BI last year and I answered. We decided to try Maui again this year after three years of going to the BI. Just hoping the weather improves. Thanks also koa for your help. Will keep an eye on that sight. My worst fear is 2 weeks of rain.

What part of the island are you staying on? I just got back from 5 days in Paia and Napili. Had some rain, but mostly sun. It is not guaranteed, but often when it is raining everywhere else you can find some sun in the Kihei/Wailea area.

We still had plenty of sunshine but it did rain more than we would have liked. Even last year when we were on the Big Island it did not rain at all but when we got to Maui it rained a little most days. If you have questions about anything else, let me know.
