If you stay at the other hotel that someone recommended to you and you hate it, be sure to come back and post early and often about how horrible your experience was and that it should be closed, and you wanted your money back, and anyone who ever stays there is stupid.

FainaAgain Feb 2nd, 2005 01:25 PM

GoTravel, ask this question on ThornTree.

Kostroma Feb 2nd, 2005 01:27 PM

Dallas and San Jose are. Chicago and San Francisco are not.

Elizabeth Feb 2nd, 2005 02:54 PM

How could you be thinking of going there in the first place? You should be going to an entirely different place & especially a more tasteful place.

Also what you wanted to eat reflects badly on you and your family.

Oh, PS, we don't stay in hotels, when we travel we buy a condo or farm in the area, then sell it at a profit to pay for next trip.

It really depends on when you are going? You do realize that General Beaureguaud Lee did NOT see his shadow this morning, so here in the south we are destined for an early spring!

Now that Phil groundhog DID see his shadow so those poor people up north have 6 more weeks of not shoveling their sidewalks!

GoTravel Feb 2nd, 2005 03:20 PM

Is it because of what happened?

Robespierre Feb 2nd, 2005 03:29 PM

No, it's because the taxi is more expensive, but your cell phone has to be tri-band.

turn_it_on Feb 2nd, 2005 11:11 PM

Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded.

what,
roxy

ccolor Feb 3rd, 2005 01:47 AM

That airline doesn't fly in there anymore, you might want to check Amtrak.

emd Feb 3rd, 2005 02:03 AM

GoT: I went there last year. Email me and I'll tell you all about it.

And while we are at it, when are you going to post a trip report on the trip to that other place that you went to two years ago that we gave you so much help with? If you keep it up, not to mention not putting the correct info in your title, you are going to rack up the kind of fodors karma that will get you sent straight to travelers h-e-double-hockeysticks when you expire (the place where the man in the little red suit w/horns says "come on in, unpack those bags baby because you aren't going to be traveling for a long long long time" ((6)))

And please make sure you tip housekeeping each day. They'll need extra pay for caring for your triplets.

gyppielou Feb 3rd, 2005 06:00 AM

only if you're one of those snotty people into the evian spritz thing.

Iregeo Feb 3rd, 2005 06:47 AM

I would never go there -- too much dog mess in the street.

Leona Feb 3rd, 2005 07:03 AM

GoTravel,

I've been away from this board for some time, but I know that you have been a frequent poster. And I'm having a hard time determining whether the responders are being nasty, or if this is all a joke.

But if it is not a joke, you should know better than to post a question like that.

LDLee Feb 3rd, 2005 07:04 AM

No. Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded.

sunbabe Feb 3rd, 2005 07:11 AM

Can I wear white tennis shoes in New York or will I be arrested?

Leona Feb 3rd, 2005 07:56 AM

I guess I haven't stayed away long enough after all.

LDLee Feb 3rd, 2005 08:11 AM

Why waste our time with such a silly question? [-X

If you had done a search you would see this question has been asked many times before. :-B

I don't have time to waste answering drivel like this. #-O With my busy work schedule, I only check this board 20 times every hour. :-B I could be arguing about the relative merits of San Jose and Dallas over San Francisco, but no, I have to answer this post. :((

Now let's have a big group hug. >:D<

:-D

GoTravel Feb 3rd, 2005 08:25 AM

Now we are thinking about the other thing instead. What do you think?

Will anyone know?

Do they really enforce the two in a room rule on priceline?

Aunt Bee and the kids may be going and they can't be trusted with their own room. I only want to spend $26 for a corner suite that will sleep 18 on priceline.

Does anyone have any experience?

iceeu2 Feb 3rd, 2005 09:35 AM

Everyone knows about THAT OTHER thing.

Geeeeez Louise! You were the one who told everybody about THAT OTHER thing.

Check your post on THAT OTHER day to find all about THAT OTHER thing.
