It is kind of complex, while part of me dreads the getting old bit and wondering will that "clock" will start ticking, the other part of me realizes that every day I am alive is a blessing. And darn it, I want to live to be a old gray haired woman holding everybody up who is waiting to board the airline while I look for my ticket that I somehow misplaced in my crocheting bag! :)

I think you miss the point. What is old? Is it physical? Is it your state of mind? It's not about a number.

Enjoy your life. Some are not as lucky.

I totally understood your point. Which is why I responded with my posting. I said that I was blessed every day I am alive...and yes, I know that you are only as old as you feel. :)

EVERYONE, as I told my husband should count each day as a blessing. Life should be bountiful in the small ways no matter how poor or rich you are.
respect eachothers'differences which does not mean we must agree.
Life is hard, fodors can ease that up spo let's try not to be mean, nasty and keep the trips rolling, the laughs coming.
