Is it hot in Blowing Rock, NC in June?

Planning a week in Blowing Rock in June to see the rhododendrons...and Grandfather Mountain, etc., etc. We stayed at Chetola when we were there before in the fall and hope to stay there again. We always wanted to go back in June to see the floribunda.

What's the weather like during the last two weeks of June?

Help?

I've never been to Blowing Rock, but have been to other parts of the North Carolina Mountains. June should be pleasantly warm.

It is not normally very hot in Blowing Rock in June, but you may want to check http://www.weatherunderground.com for historical weather information.

It will probably be very pleasant--and probably pleasantly cool at night.

When you check that weather info make sure you note the relative humidity, too.

You should not have any trouble with heat or humidity in Blowing Rock proper in June. Should be perfect, if crowded.
