Is is possible to rent a car one way from Anchorage to Homer?

Next August my wife and I will be touring in Alaska. We will rent a car in Anchorage, drive to Seward for two days, then to Homer for three days, before driving back to Anchorage to catch a plane to Kodiak for a week.

We would like to skip the drive back from Homer and just fly Homer-Anchorage-Kodiak on the same day. (This should allow us to add a day in Homer.) Does anyone know if any of the car rental companies allow you to drop a car in Homer?

If it is allowed, I anticipate it would be expensive, but it's a vacation and within reason I will pay a drop fee.

I checked orbitz and it looks like it can be done with Hertz. And yep, it's expensive.
