Is Green Gables worth 260.00 a night

Green Gables only has Carriage Room for $260.00 left. Large king bed, partial ocean view, spa tub, TV, VCR, Breakfast incl. I had only plan to spend $150.00 The web site looks so nice, but I am sure I could find cheaper lodging. Anyone been there to stay.

Is it in Pacific Grove? ((?))

If this is the Green Gables in Pacific Grove - it is a lovely Victorian right on the water. I did not see the Carriage rooms as we stayed in the main house, but our room was great. You have to remember that it IS an old house and doesn't have every modern amenity, but the charm more than makes up for it. $260 is a little steep but the location is tops and may be worth it if you like being right on the water and it is also right on the Monterey recreation path which is great. Miles of scenic biking or walking. Have fun.
