bwg, if you go to the NP website and go to reservations and find a date with motel rooms open it will show a very accurate photo of what the motel rooms look like. They are pretty large with 2 queen beds. As I said, when we were there in 2004 they looked brand new and we were so glad to be right on the canyon's edge.

I guess I stand corrected then. I just didn't remember any motel like buildings -- only cabins and the lodge itself.
