Is anyone planning a CA wine country GTG??

We are going again this year (duh, every time we have 5 empty places in the cellar my DH panics)
We will probably stay in Healdsburg again and most probably will get our 3 day Mendocino fix. Considering Octobe, maybe first of November. Would love to meet up with the CA Fodorites and maybe convince some others to come on out for some food and wine! Anyone??

only if you promise not to eat any foie gras, starrs...;-)

I'm serious about this. Kal, Pam, kim, all those who keep me in the loop about wine country stuff...been trying to meet up with you guys for a long time. My husband says we're skipping EPCOT's wine fest this October and heading for Sonoma. It would be great to find a place where we could share our fav wines. We are very generous! We gotta get Budman to fly out, too!!

I've only eaten foie gras once - at Jules Verne in Paris. If THEY serve it, I'm gonna eat it. But, in CA wine country? Nope

But, I'm bringing lard in my carry-on so they can fry me up some veggies so they are REALLY tasty ('cause we Southerners use only LARD, dontcha know?)

Faina, we belong to a ridiculous number of wine clubs, he should be okay. The first weekend of November sounds good- that's a great time to visit (no crowds)

OOO...just got a shipment from Papapietro Perry (pinot) and a big ol magnum fro Bennett Lane. LOVE Bennett Lane!

So, we're talking the end of October - first of November?

What about -
Oct 20
Oct 27
Nov 3
or the Sunday after (instead of a Saturday)?
