Iroquois hotel, NYC

Has anyone ever stayed here before and if so, how was it? It's a member of SLH so I'm hoping it's ok. Thanks

I have never stayed there, but be sure to check reviews on tripadvisor.com if you haven't already.

I think it's a "nice" hotel but not sure it lives up to it's price or SLH membership. It's on a great block (with lots of other hotels, the Algonquin being next door.) I do remember one poster here who was coming to NYC with a difficult French Mother-in-law and the MIL wasn't impressed. I think the regular rooms are smallish. The Sofitel is on the same block and gets top marks from most everyone.

Yes, I have checked tripadvisor and it gets mostly good reviews. Rooms are supposed to be small but we have a two bdrm suite which costs quite a bit less than two rooms at the Sofitel or anywhere else I checked for that one night.

Sounds good. The location is great and there's lots going on right on that block. Have fun and let us know how it was!
