BCaicos, Seabrook Island. We had storm surge but for us, our place, it appears that it was no greater than Matthew last year. Might be the new normal for living on a near magical island.
Yes, Charleston floods - again.

The storm surge at our home on Fort Lauderdale beach was a NON-event. We had little beach erosion.

We've kayaked from Botany Bay and seen the beautiful houses over on Seabrook. Always wanted to visit but it's a long drive from Edisto even though it's only a stones throw away. So glad that your house is safe.

I think the natural world is trying to tell the owners on Palmetto Boulevard, Edisto something they already know. The beach wants to migrate inland.

Charleston and its sea island are a very special place.
