Irene's Cuisine/Galatoire's/Pelican Club
We are making an impromptu trip to No and many restaurants are closed for vacation and then many on Sunday night.Have planned Irene's Cuisine for Sunday at 5:30 so shouldn't have much wait, but I am wondering if that is the best choice of the three. We usually eat at Galatoire's, so wanted to try something new.Commander's Palace and Brigsten's are planned for the other nights.
We drive from Orlando for three special nights of dining so every selection is crucial since I am the designated planner.Thank you for your help

I bet this is too late, but we had a fantastic dinner at Irene's Cuisine in late April. There was a piano player in the bar to entertain us while we waited for a table. I found the food divine and the service wonderful. Hope you did as well!

I ate at Irene's the last time in NO and thought it one of the best meals I've ever had. It is a small place and they don't take reservations. I went early and didn't have any problems. I'm looking forward to my next trip there. Hope this helps.
