Intl Travel from US?

I haven't been to this site since my last excursion, but every time I'm going to travel I def stop in here first!

I'm looking to travel outside of the states. What are some the cheaper known destinations to go? For instance, I flew to Costa Rica last summer from Miami for $150 roundtrip. Now, that's cheap!

Anyones thoughts on places or similar findings would be great!

Thanks....Greg

Hmmm...there's an entire "outside of the states." Can you be more specific? Maybe post in other branches, too.

Clarification:
*there's an entire WORLD "outside of the states"

For cheap airfare, I think airline sales are the best bet - so if you aren't particular about where you go, check the web sites of the airlines that fly out of your home airport and see what sorts of sales they have. Then pick a destination that seems interesting to you. I doubt the $150 Miami to Costa Rica was the standard fare.

Which website sends e-mails with 20 cheapest trips? TravelZoo? They have international too.

If you are looking at airline fares at the first place to start your planning, visit www.farecompare.com. the website has getaway maps or best deals from your home airport. i think top deals is what they call it on the map. once you put in your airport, it will pull up a bunch of different maps based on regions around the globe and then you can explore further.
