International Corvair Convention

Is anyone out there going to this convention in Flagstaff, AZ?

corvair May 22nd, 2002 05:39 AM

No, but sure would love to attend a Corvair Convention. What a pretty car. Especially after the changes were made in 1965...wonderful cars.

Sorry, saving my money for the upcoming Pinto convention.

Good for you Don . . . so happy you have something to look foward to.

Corvair was my first car and I loved it. It was way ahead of it's time with good gas mileage and easy to maneuver and work on. It was the first American compact car.

Ralph Nader ruined it all by claiming it was unsafe when he should have been saying that about the Volkswagen "Bug".

You are absolutely right, Gene. Mine is a '65, with the new suspension, whish is the same type that was in the Corvette. This change made the Corvair the best driving car on the market.
My little Evening Orchid "Vair is a little beauty. It is so pretty, I am sure it would make Don change his mind about buying a PINTO!!!!
