Interisland Tickets Hawaiian Islands

Anyone have deal info for interisland tickets. I know about one way coupons ($62.) that you pick up at the airport anyone find out anything more.

Hi, <BR>You can purchase the coupons in advance directly from the airlines (both Aloha & Hawaiian). However, I found the price my travel agent got for e-tickets was equal to the coupons and less hassle since I didn't have to exchange the coupons at the airport check-in counter. We paid under $60. Contrary to other opinions I've seen on this board, we had no trouble with any of our inter-island hops. The planes were very crowded though. Get in line to get on early!

where did you get these inter-island tickets. Did you have flexibility of missing the plane. I am not finding a way to buy coupons before hand only reserve before hands. So please share if you have anymore details on putting the coupons in my hand before travel.

Hi Abigail - when we were there we used a local travel agent to get our tickets. We tried to do it ourselves but the prices were too expensive. She was able to get us a better deal and she really appreciated the business.

Just look on the internet. I purchase them through a hawaiian travel agent. they were around 50 bucks each. If you want I can see if the site is still up. Have a great trip.

yes please give me the details. I will call any travel agent in Hawaii if it means I get a better deal and the tickets in my hand. Thanks for your suggestions.

I was in Hawaii last month and before I left I purchased the coupons through Blue Hawaii Travel Agency's web site. They were about $65 for each one way segment. The service was excellent. I looked all over and you can't get them much cheaper than that anywhere you go. I would make your reservations with the airlines way in advance. The good flights book up quickly. Also, I suggest you get to the airport at least two hours early for the interisland flights. The lines to check in can be very long. FYI, each time, I was able to catch a flight earlier than the one I was booked on.

Originally, I called Aloha Airlines and they told me about the coupons and offered to sell them to me. Don't know if they still do that but I would call. I looked at their web site and they are offering "flex fares" of $49.99 right now but if you want total flexibility of schedule you can also purchase the coupons at the Hawaiian travel agency hawaii-nei.com (I haven't used them, but their web site is informative)

I had very good luck with Roberts Hawaii, who offers round trips with rental car for a good price, less than $200 for two people.

I already have the car booked and confirmed, we booked with AAA rates so I have not been able to find better. We are 6 people so nothing short of a minvan will do us. I just need the interisland tickets and then we are done

If there's six of you, then you could just buy the vouchers directly from Aloha Airlines. The airline sells the vouchers in books of six for about $375 or about $62.50 a ticket. You just call the airline to reserve your flights, and then you can buy the book of vouchers and turn in the vouchers for your tickets at the check-in counter. That's what I did. Really simple. That way, you don't have to bother going thru a 3rd party like a travel agent.
