Interesting hikes/things to do in Wisconsin Dells area

I am looking for some short interesting hikes in the Midwest area? Something similar to Parfrey's Glen in Wisconsin would be great. I also would like some suggestions on good things to do in the Wisconsin Dells area. I am thinking of going to Wisconsin Dells for a couple of days with my elementary school aged kids.

Check out this recent thread:

I also recommend Devil's Lake State Park, which is nearby and really beautiful. You can hike, rock climb, or rent a boat for the lake.

Thanks for the info. We went to the Dells before. The Ducks boat tour was a lot of fun. We have been to the Devil's Lake State Park before, but it has always been off season (when the food concession stand was closed).

You might want to go to Baraboo and visit the Circus Museum -

A lot of schools around the area take field trips to the International Crane Museum in Baraboo. Among other things, they breed endangered whooping cranes and work to reintroduce them to the wild. Your kids may find it to be an interesting side trip.

Sorry. Make that the International Crane "Foundation" (not "museum"). The site also says they have some walking trails around the facility.
