Inter-island flight coupons ?

Is there anywhere in Toronto Canada that I can get Inter-Island flight coupons for Aloha Airlines ? Failing that where can I get them on Oahu . How do they work? Can I reserve specific flights even though I do not have coupons yet ?

JM,
You might try contacting Aloha directly about buying a coupon booklet (interisland flight coupons). Local travel agents (Oahu) also sell them - so you could call someone on island or stop by a TA office once you reach Oahu. Yes, you can make reservations for a specific flight without having the interisland coupons. You just need the coupon to check in and board the flight. There have been several past theads on this forum about interisland flights. A search should pull them up and yield some more information.

The coupons are about $60.00 each, good for a o/w trip interisland. Hope this helps.

JM, you can purchase interisland tickets for 89.00 cdn, per flight. These tickets are booked through a tour operator here in Toronto, and they can only be booked through a travel agent.

Hi, I also am working on booking inter-island flights. I have found www.bestvaluetravel.com to be the lowest @ $60.36 tax inclued. Oops that is US $. jae

You can get the coupon books on their website, you do not need to book through any travel agent! They are just trying to get commission $$$ from you. Beware!

To the previous poster...the airlines pay commission to travel agents...we do not make commission from our clients. So our services are free.

Toni-Fodor's rules strictly prohibit any type of advertising and promoting of one's business! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Travel agents soliciting business are not welcome here!

JM,

We are going to Hawaii in May for our honeymoon and have reserved coupons through Hawaiin Air (800-367-5320). We are paying $391.50 incl. tax for 6 coupons which are being held for us at the counter when we check in for our first leg. We were able to make reservations for the flights, though no seat assignments b/c they are first come first serve. I was also told that the coupon reservation was cancellable up to the day of the departure and they don't charge you until you get your coupons.

Hopefully we won't have any problems as this is our first time to Hawaii. And, hopefully this will help you.
