insulin pump

My friend has an insulin pump and generally doesn't have any trouble getting through airport security anymore. She's never been through customs though, but I imagine it's a similar thing. Insulin pumps are becoming more and more common, and I think the agents are trained to recognize them now.

You might want to get a doctor's note for the insulin you carry, however.

I would not expect a problem other than it will set off the alarm. You will then have to step aside and be checked more thoroughly. That is what happened to my son when we traveling to and from Las Vegas.

Hi tot, as Andrew said, do have a letter from your Dr. And tell them at security that you have an insulin pump. I just read an article about two weeks ago that insulin pumps are getting more commom, and airports are aware of this.

And do have a healthy and relaxing trip!
