Inner city luxury hotel in Dallas
I'm travelling to Dallas in January for business and contemplating staying the weekend to shop and do some self pampering. The Four Seasons looks interesting but I'm wondering if anyone has another suggestion of a high-end luxury hotel that is closer to the Galleria. I would also like the hotel to have an onsite spa.
Any suggestions?

The cresecent or the W (bliss spa) in uptown dallas meet the luxury and on-site spa aspects. However, not near the galleria.
As one poster above stated the Westin is attached to the galleria which I believe has a spa in Nordstrom among others (if that is close enough to on-site).
You can also check the Cooper Clinic which is located very close to the galleria and is a renowned facility (from what I hear).

Your best bet is the Westin Galleria - which is more like a suburban area and not much inner-city; if that matters at all. Nordstrom spa is good and there's another place, Klinger I believe, in the Galleria.
Four Seasons is in Irving and is rather isolated, so not near shopping.
*W has Bliss Spa.
*Palomar has Exhale Spa.
*Crescent Court has an excellent spa, but gets crowded on weekends.
*ZaZa has a spa.
Northpark Center has better shopping than the Galleria - check mall websites for store listings. All hotels mentioned above are closer to Northpark.

I second Pepper's suggestions for W, ZaZa and Crescent (haven't stayed at Palomar yet). Also, I would choose to shop at Northpark over Gallaria. New stores are going in all the time at Northpark. Carolina Herrera just opened as well as Barneys (great women's shoe department!)
