Inn Above Tide, Sausalito?
 

Has anyone stayed at the Inn Above Tide in Sausalito recently? I'm finding so much about how small the rooms are, and wondering if I'll be disappointed booking a queen deluxe. The views look worth it!

Several years ago, my daughter's class went on a field trip to Sausalito. Several families went the night before. We were cheapskates and stayed in Mill Valley at the Holiday Inn Express. Several others stayed at the Inn Above the Tide. The rooms and views were gorgeous. I was envious and could have kicked myself for being such a tight-wad. I can't recall the size, but I thought it was very romantic.

We've stayed there three times - obviously, we like the place. It hangs right over the water with amazing views of the SF skyline. The rooms are beautiful. Make sure you get one with a fireplace to add to the ambience. You'll never want to leave. As far as getting a queen size bed - you'll have more room to roam.

Although our stay was not recent, we walk by it when we are in Sausalito, and it is still the same great little place. I agree with there posters that the location makes the room size well worth the price. It is a tranquil place and the bedding and decor is stylish. They also have a nice wine reception in the afternoon. Bring your bottle of wine and sit on the deck and just enjoy the view. It is a rare opportunity to be that close to the water in Sasalito.
