Info. regaqrding moving to New Orleans

I may be selected to work for the FBI in New Orleans, my only problem is this, what type of rentals are available nearby the FBI building, any recommendations? Is this a safe area to live or am I getting myself into the wrong deal. Please advise. I want to make the "right" decision in life, not the wrong one. If you can recommend apartment rentals online for me to look into that is near the FBI building I will be appreciative of this. Thanks in advance!

Best of luck in your search, I'm thinking you won't be bored at work either.

Fedgirl - I believe the FBI building is located near the Lakefront Arena in an area that did experience heavy flooding. I think there are a few rentals in this area, mostly near UNO but I'm not sure what kind of properties they are. You could try Uptown, Broadmoor or even the Mid-City area or venture into Jefferson Parish. These areas are about 10+/- miles away from the Lakefront. Try the www.latterandblum.com for rental info.

Also try www.nola.com or craiglist. I know a few people who have posted their rental property there recently.
