Info on cheap Summit Cnty. season pass, please.
 

A friend told me about a cheap Summit Cnty. season pass available only in April in person for about $300. Can this be right and how would I find out more about it? Also, since we missed it this April and will be skiing the Breck. area for 2 weeks Jan/Feb, 2005, what's the cheapest way to do it re: lift tickets? Thanks to all.

They sell several passes - I think the one you're thinking about is the Colorado Pass. It was $299 for unlimited skiing at Breck, Keystone & A-Basin (with Blackout dates for Xmas, New Years and Presidents Week). For another $50, you get 10 days at Vail or Beaver Creek.

HOWEVER, these passes are geared toward locals and Front Rangers and are therefore only available at the end of the season (April) and between the end of Oct to the beginning of November, AND you have to buy it in person. They usually don't release exact rates until October, but rumor has it that the prices are going up $20-40/pass.

Pass includes unlimited access to A-Basin for the 2004-2005 season and 5 2004-2005 non-transferable ski days at Keystone and Breckenridge. One ticket could be used at Vail or Beaver Creek. (The Vail/Beaver Creek ski day is not valid on the following days, 11/26 - 11/27/04, 12/27/04 - 1/1/05 and 2/19 - 2/20/05).
