Inexpensive transport from O-Hare airport to Midway

Flying from Newark, NJ to Chicago for a wedding this fall. Airfare into O-Hare is $200 less than flying into Midway.
Would appreciate suggestions for public transportation from O-Hare to Midway. The hotel shuttle will PU at Midway.
Any suggestions for other transportation options.
Thanks in advance.

I suggest you pot you question with your lodging included. Perhaps going from O-Hare direct would be the way to go.

The hotel (block of rooms for wedding) offers a shuttle to Midway. Car service from O-Hare to the hotel is just under $70 plus tip each way.

Might it not be easier to go directly to the hotel from O'Hare rather than traveling all the way to Midway and taking a hotel shuttle? Where is the hotel?

Staying at the Doubletree (Hilton)in Alsip, Il. Hotel is 8.4 miles from Midway Airport.
Flights from Newark to Midway are not direct and about double the cost of a flight from Newark to O'Hare.

Southwest flies into Midway. Have you looked at their website?

HappyTrvlr---Southwest hadn't come up when I did my initial search. Thanks for mentioning it.

You can check into the Tri-State Bus (Coach)Lines. They go from O'Hare to Crestwood, Il. The Crestwood stop is a mile west (5547 W 127th) of the Double Tree Hotel at 5000 W 127th Street (Alsip). One way fare is about $24. Have taken it in the past, but not recently.

LOL - I naturally figured you checked Southwest. I shouldn't have assumed. Glad it was mentioned.
