inexpensive restaurants

Is there such a thing as inexpensive restaurants on the strip. Every place I check breakfast is at least $12 per person and dinners $45 per person Thanks for your help.

Dennys is across the street from the Mirage.

There are many chain-type restaurants offering reasonable prices, such as California Pizza Kitchen (Mirage), PF Changs (Aladdin), Cheesecake Factory (Caesars) and Grand Luxe (Venetian-part of the Cheesecake Factory company).

Having said that, you'll get much better responses in the future if you're more specific in your post title. Please see the following thread for more tips:

Iris,

There are lots of inexpensive ways to eat in Las Vegas, but we need a little clarification.

1) Which part of the strip are you referring to? Where are you staying?

2) Will you have a car?

3) What is your definition of "restaurant"? Do you consider a restaurant only to be a place where you are served? Does a buffet count? What about a fast food outlet (ie- Subway)?

Let us know these 3 things and you will get lots of suggestions.

iris...go to cheapovegas.com

It's a great website and will answer your questions, I'm sure.

You can get breakfast downtown for about $3 pp.

We are staying at the Mirage. I like buffets. For breakfast eggs, bacon, etc. any help would be appreciated.

Since you do not say whether you have a car, I will assume you are confined to the immediate area of the Mirage.

There is a Subway sandwich shop located inside the Casino Royale, just south of the Venetian.

For dinner, you might try the Grand Luxe Cafe inside the Venetian. This is their coffe shop, but they have a wide variety of dinner entrees available for $15 or less. The food is quite good and the atmosphere is very nice.

I understand the Stage Deli located inside the Forum Shops at Caesars is good for breakfast. Can anyone comment?

You will find other casual eateries inside the Forum Shops as well.

If you enjoy buffets for dinner, try the buffet at Bellagio. It is excellent. I went in July and really enjoyed the wide selection of food. I think it about $25.00 a person. I also recommend the Grand Lux Cafe at the Venetian. I ate in the Stage Deli once for breakfast. It was fairly reasonable. Enjoy your trip.

excellent inexpensive breakfast is in Paris at LaBoulangerie...pastries, egg sandwiches on croissants, french toast, very reasonably priced...I think the breakfast buffet at Paris is $9.95. We stayed 3 nites at Paris Las Vegas in July and loved every second of it!!
