Inexpensive Places to Gamble

Where are some nice places to play inexpensive Blackjack (ie $5 and $10 tables)? I know some places go cheaper during the day, then up the minimums at night.

It doesn't have to be on the strip. Downtown has some cheap places, but was wondering if there were some casios elsewhere.

I'm assuming you are referring to Las Vegas. If so, check out Casino Royale for inexpensive tables. It is right next door to Harrah's.

O'Sheas & Bills on the Strip (by Harrah's / Flamingo) for mid-strip or Slots-O-Fun by Circus Circus. However, none of the above are what I would call "nice." Unfortunately, low-limit gambling is hard to find on the strip.

Arizona Charlies (on Decatur) had $2.00 blackjack. Though have not been there in a few years, so minimums may have changed.

I am just back from Vegas and we found a great place on Flamingo & Paradise called TERRIBLES! Yes, that's the name and except for the smell of cigarettes it was a fun place with nice dealers, not a seedy atmosphere or clientele and a great coffee shop upstairs from the casino. The fruit plate for one fed 4 of us and we brought home some for breakfast. I won $150.00 and I am not a gambler. The timeshare we stayed at recommended it.

You can also find some lower limit tables near the strip but not in the usual direction. When you get off the interstate, instead of going towared the Stratosphere and the major casinos, go in the other direction, you will find the "Orleans" I think is the name of it or something like that and some other nice casinos but they have some lower limit games.

DH and I played a lot on our trip in July at Palace Station, which is on Sahara across the interstate from the Strip. Most of their tables were $5, and their ventilation system has been greatly improved so the casino is not very smoky at all.

The Orleans is a great place for low stakes blackjack. There are several tables dealing double deck blackjack with $10 minimum that pay 3:2 for a natural. Blackjack rules at this hotel/casino are liberal for the player.

What are the typical minimums for blackjack at the strip hotels like Mirage, TI, Caesar's Palace?
