I think a few hotels need to understand that a few of their rooms just aren't good for any paying customer. Most hotels I have stayed at have had good rooms but some have tons of rooms that are terrible and if they don't change them I certainly don't think people will be back or recommend them. I recommend hotels a lot to friends and I certainly would not recommend on that sounded like the Indy 500 - no matter how much I paid. I also don't think the desk clerk needs to be rude or snippy no matter what. I have used Priceline and mostly have liked the rooms I have gotten but if one was a bad as this one I would have left and then written that hotel off for good. Since many hotels get a big portion of their customers from Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, Priceline and Hotwire it is not wise to treat their customers bad.
