Independent/Local Cafes and Roasters in NYC
Hi all
Heading to NYC soon. I'll be in Manhattan three nights/days and part of a day in Brooklyn and as usual will be looking for small coffee shops and/or places which brew coffee roasted locally.
I will be staying in Chelsea.
Is Cafe Grumpy a local place?
Thank you.
(darn it I forgot to tag this New York and I cannot do so via editing)

Yes, Cafe Grumpy is local (Brooklyn-based), as is Porto Rico (but the latter is a retail shop, not a coffee shop, but you can buy a cup of coffee to go). You might find this article helpful: https://www.insidehook.com/article/f...e-roasters-nyc
