Incident at Kahului Airport
 

On Sunday morning a man drove a Dodge Durango truck into the terminal of the Kahului airport and set it on fire. The blaze and ensuing investigation halted outgoing flights for most of the day and stranded passengers.

It appeared no one was injured. The Transportation Security Administration closed the Kahului airport just after the incident at about 7:45 a.m.

Flights were allowed to land but not to take off.

Any more news on why he did it? It says he was upset about a friend, but it is curious (crazy but curious) that he drove through the airport wall and up to the United Airlines ticket counter and then set the car on fire.
