Wayne Brady! It was hilarious!

IMO, the best LV show is the Las Vegas Strip on a hot Saturday night.

Got to put in my vote for "Love" and I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. If you like Beatles music at all, you will really love this show. I hope to see it again.

Enjoy!

Hated Hated Hated Blue Man Group. Worst Las Vegas show I have ever seen. I guess if you like things that make no sense whatsoever (crepe paper streamers being passed through the audience, etc.) and lots and lots and lots of really loud drumming - you might like it. Most of the people seated around us didn't get it. I'm not that old (40's) and love great entertainment. This did NOT do it for me or my husband. I would have rather gambled the ticket money away.

Stumbled upon a 2 for 1 coupon for a comic called Vinnie Favorito at O'Sheas. ($50 for both of us). Laughed non-stop for over an hour. Don't go if you're easily offended - there is definately some "language". But everyone we saw there was laughing hysterically and no one was offended at all. It was a great "find"!

If you could go for a little bit more and like Broadway-type shows, I highly recommend Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian. I saw it twice (and I have a limited budget). The visual effects and music were phenomenal. I would say this is an absolute must if you love "classical" music

I forgot - a "really cheap" good show is the Legends in Concert at the Imperial Palace. Last August it cost me about $60 (I think) for the show AND dinner before the show. The impersonators do their own singing and sound/look like the originals. I guess it depends on your interests and taste insofar as shows/attractions go.

We saw KA 2 years ago, tickets were free due to an alumni event, so we didn't really know anything about it beforehand. It was a wonderful surprise. I had seen other traveling Cirque shows, and this was a different twist. A more serious story, asian culture and martial arts, but the real treat was the STAGE. I don't want to ruin it, but I would pay the ticket price to see that alone, never saw anything like it. We are going to see O or La Reve this year when we go back.

My vote: O & Blue Man Group. O is like nothing else, and both are hugely entertaining.

Oops, forgot to add that I agree with SaltysMom, above, in one respect: Blue Man is pretty loud. They distribute earplugs in the lobby, but we didn't see them until we were on the way out.
Also, I would say that Blue Man, and probably all the Cirque shows, will disappoint you if you are looking for a plot or straightforward story. These shows do not "make sense" like a movie plot usually does. You have to be able to enjoy the color, movement, playfulness, acrobatic skill and stage sets for what they are (ie. amazing). Not for strictly analytical, linear thinkers perhaps.

I don't think anyone above mentioned Terry Fator the ventrioquist at the Mirage. Also Steve Martin will be doing some comedy and playing the banjo there as well.

Flying from Australia to Vegas for just 4 nights? I wouldnt dream of it. On $100 you cant really see a quality show such as David Copperfield or Lance Burton. Exclude any show that appears in other cities such as in NYC, etc. Why not see nature instead, Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, etc.

I agree that the best show in town is the strip, the girls are drunk, tops half down, pick up 1 or 2 to go.
