kodi - you must be new to the Net. There is a site called Google. If you enter a name of a restaurant, you'll usually find it. Go ahead, give "Culvers" a try.

Anyone know whether Miz Brown's is still there out on Geary? They used to have very good burgers, but the hot apple pie with cinnamon sauce was a major draw.

>>But if you run across one on the road, it would be a tasty lunch!<<

>>Wouldn't the car tires kinda squish it a little too much to eat??<<

Well, yes, but then one could eat without dentures.

I haven't been here for awhile, but people used to say Bill's Place on Clement had the best burgers.

Sorry - the furthest west you can find a Culvers is Phoenix.
http://culvers.know-where.com/culvers/

Culvers will be out there eventually. The restaurant started in a small town in Wisconsin and has just exploded with restaurants throughout the Midwest.

Their carmel cashew sundaes are to die for. Everyday is a special flavor of the day in custard. Today is Snicker Swirl!!!

The hamburgers are cooked fresh like they used to be and formed by hand - no presses or microwaves.

You are all making me hungry... well, everyone except Lee Ann and Patrick!!!
Brats I love caramel. I'd even go so far as to say it's beating out chocolate these days.

Well, I guess that's a good thing, but it might depend on the hands of the person pressing them and where they've been previously.

They probably wear the disposable gloves that are so "fashionable" in fast food cooking places.

Don't worry though as the hamburgers are cooked well done.

kodi - I was hungry with all this hamburger talk. We went to Culvers to eat tonight. Hamburgers, strawberry shakes with strawberries in it, one person had the great Culvers fish fry dinner, hamburgers deluxe, fries.

Love that cholesterol. But then I walked today.

Kal. eewww!
I don't even want to think of the possibilities..

Brats, I'll just have to plan a trip to your part of the country!! Sounds delicious!

I'm not much of a 'foodie' as they call those with sophisticated palates. Just give me a good steak and baked potato or a good homecooked hamburger. Plain but good food.

Ahh and the desserts!!

Without too many details the puncher is "You think that's disgusting-you should see how he makes his doughnuts".

As for merchandising I recall the decals were the rage since you could <ahen> "modify them" to say something else. :-"

Your idea of coming to the Midwest for Culvers makes me think a tour of the USA with only food in mind would be fun.

Should post that - where to go.
