Improptu GTG in NYC ?
 

From all the posts recently, it seems there will be lots of Fodors folks coming to and/or visiting the city in the next couple of weeks.

Anyone up for a GTG lunch/dinner/coffe/tea/whatever? We could just arrange to meet up at a pub even on a certain day and time.

Anyone interested I'd be happy to set something up. Be fun to meet a few more Fodors Friends.

I'll be in NYC from Indy, March 11-16 th days then later but my friend is coming 17-20 & we're busy then... but I'd enjoy a meeting at the MET for lunch some day, cafeteria or cafe whatever... a past NYC student...

We're planning one in Weehawken for the 21st of May. Mark the date on your calendar. News at 11 (or more details around the first week in April). We had a great time at our last one (30 October). ((b))

This would be an interesting way to meet several net cruisers, all on Spring Break ah... Let me know if you could try to find your way up the 4,5 or 6 subway to the MET cafe if any museum lovers or if that's too far for Sundowner since you're leaving at noon, maybe the Rock Center Plaza as it MAY be warmer by then. Does anyone know a specific cafe or...?

I work in NYC but live in the burbs so if we are meeting for drinks during the week, can it be after 5pm?

Looks like I am arriving when lucy is leaving. Will be there from March 24-29. I am coming with my daughter but she will be tied up with auditions and also has friends to visit, so I will be on my own some of the time. Lunch, dinner or a drink would be fine.

How about coffee at the old Trump Tower near the waterfall on the coffeehouse floor? It will still be cold but inside along the railing if its crowded... I'll be there
