If you're coming to NYC, get tickets for King Lear now!

The Lincoln Center production of King Lear, starring Christopher Plummer opened last night and got rave reviews from the critics--both for the production and Plummer. (The Times said Plummer gives the performance of a lifetime.)
Since it's only playing thru April 18, if you're interested, get tickets soon before it sells out.

In the same order of idea, but in a all different style....Aretha Franklin will produce at BBKing Blues only for one night april the 26th...Check at BBKingblues website.
I've been lucky to see her in NY at the radiocity musichall several years ago and it's one of my best musical souvenir...
Unfortunately, we'll bee in NY from april 3rd to april 11the and so, we'll miss her...As we are here with our 2 daughters with the youngest one not understanding the english we'll also miss King Lear...
Erik.

So glad to hear that, Howard. We arrive in New York on April 18, and got tickets way down front the minute I heard about the show. Just hope our plane isn't delayed!!

Howard, I had read that NYTimes Review which was indeed a rave. But then I just finished reading the summarized reviews of many other critics at Broadway.com. Ouch. Not so good. I'm still looking forward to seeing it, but overall these aren't mainly what I'd call raves, with the exception of Ben Brantley.

See the summaries:
