Dont know if you Metolius lovers know that there is a plan to build 2 destination resorts at the head waters

I just cant believe that anyone would want to ruin this beautiful area but it appears so
I was at Sun River over the weekend and there was an article in the Bend newspaper about it and here is a link to some other info

Oh sunbum, I agree...this is not a good thing. There are enough destination resorts close enough to there. Like you said, no reason to spoil such a beautiful area:(

Oh man, Sunbum1944, this is bad news. We have a vacation home near Sunriver and may husband LOVES fishing the Metolius. Bad, bad, bad news.

and apparently the governor does NOT support the bill to protect the Metolius

There is a group called "Save the Metolius" - with information on how to protest the development

Maybe we Metolius lovers better start protesting!!

Read that in the Bulletin. It should be designated as a Wild and Scenic River to keep out these land predators. Next they'll want to spray to get rid of those darn Salmon Flies. We should cry Rape.
