There seems to be quite a variety of fine dining establishments in Jackson. We are only there one night...any recommendations?

How much do you want to spend, and what type(s) of food do you like?

The Rusty Parrot, hands down!

we like fine dining...perhaps something with a local flavor, maybe elk tenderloin or the like. we will be on vacation so not unwilling to spend a few bux on dinner.

Try the Snake River Grill, downtown on East Broadway. Its specialties include free-range veal chops, grilled venison and red-rainbow trout....and a lot more.

I second Snake River Grill. Very nice atmosphere and great food.
