If you could stay any where in DC for a three day weekend, (Presidents Day) where would you stay? Coming in to Union Station, me my wife, no kids. Want to get to museums, the general DC stuff

I spend a lot of time in D.C. because my child settled there. My first choice would be the Willard, near the White House. My second choice would be the Ritz Carlton but further out. We walk all over including from the station to all over the Mall and to the hotels. My third choice would probably be the Hays Adam, again in a good location. You did not say what price range and these are at the top. There are cheaper hotels, check the guide books.
