identifying house in Bar Harbor
On a bus tour of Bar Harbor I took photos of 2 pretty houses pointed out to us by the guide. One is the former summer cottage of the Colket family, now the Maine Sea Coast Mission. One minute later I photographed a 3 story home, green roof, green shingles. I failed to make note of its name or history in my journal. Any help identifying this home would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Regarding the above post, I made a note in my journal about the Campbell Soup house. But in my searches I don't find anything that looks like the house in my photo.

could you not simply call the guide or tour company?

Or, across from the Mission and just down the road is the home at the corner of West St and Holland. It's as you describe though I don't know the historical significance of it. The address is 4 Holland Ave but on google maps you'll have to scroll around to the West Street side to see the green roof/front of house.

I think it's the one at 4 Holland Ave. Thank you for the info! I can't call the tour guide or company. It was an optional excursion while on a Princess cruise. No idea who the guide was. But I'm pretty sure it's the house mentioned by clarkgriswold. Thanks again!
