Ideas for April vacation with kids?
 

Does anyone have ideas of an interesting and active vacation for mid-April (kid's spring break)? Don't want to go anywhere too crowded, was thinking about Colorado...but is it rainy that time of year? Any ideas?

Arizona - tucson, pheonix, sedona, grand canyon.<BR>California Coast is also great.

I live in Colorado. By mid April most of the ski areas have shut down. It is in-between seasons and not much is happening at the ski areas. It is not necessarily rainy, the mountains are still quite cold, but Denver area temps would probably average 60-70 degrees. Where were you thinking about going in Colorado? Durango-Mesa Verde Park area is nice. I want to go somewhere warm, sunny, beachy w/ reasonable rates the first week of April with a ten year old. Any suggestions??
