I WOULD LIKE TO RENTA COTTAGE OR APPARTMENT IN SAN DIEGO IN NOVEMBER

1) Excuse my English
2) I would like top get some advice to rent a cottage or appartment (by VRBO or other web site) in San Diego the ten first days of November. I don't know San Diego: what is the best area (i am looking for quietness and swiming)

I wish you well but would just like to note that using all caps for a subject line is best avoided; it is considered "shouting".

Oh, I should have also commended you on the actual _content_ of your subject line. It really should serve as a model: clear, concise and _specific_.

And it certainly does _not_ pay to bother re-posting just because of the all-caps. I just wanted to inform you as well as others for the future.

Bonjour Alain,
La Jolla is a beautiful coastal city 15 minutes from downtown San Diego and it is somewhat quiet and the ocean water still might be warm enough to swim or you can rent a wetsuit..
Alot of fab restaurants in LJ and village atmosphere..
Georges at the Cove is wonderful and the Marine Room has Bernard Guillas who cooks yummy French food..
For the website go to California and then La Jolla..
Del Mar is lovely too.
A` bientot..

Alain, in November, the ocean water is much to cold for pleasant swimming. Additionally, there are more dangerous currents then, and fewer lifeguards. Do not ever swim in the ocean where there are no lifeguards. The beach is lovely for walking at that time of year, and possibly sitting in the sun depending on the weather.I suggest that you look for an apartment with a pool, although that is not so easy to find.

Alain,
Barbara is right about not swimming without a Lifeguard present..it can be very dangerous and the water will be around 61 degrees.
Sometimes I forget since I live here and jump in the ocean at all times of the year but not smart for someone who does not know the currents..
I'm bad..

Alain - Have a look on www.sandiego.org the official tourist information web site for San Diego. Lots of good information on where to stay, what to do, etc. Brochures available upon request.

Come back with more questions. Both TahitiTams and Barbara are San Diego locals with a lot of information they are very willing to share with you.

San Diego is beautiful and I wish you a very nice 10 day stay.

Sandy
