Breezin
Jor is right, anxiety will pass. My husband was transfered 17yrs ago to another state. I cried for the first 6 months away from our family and friends. After 17yrs, we are now back home and loving it but missing our adopted family and community that we left and had for 17 years. Attitude is the key to happiness.

Breezin, husband and I are contemplating a similar move but I'll be moving from South Carolina to South Florida.
I'm not sure how I feel or if I want to make that change.
I know this sounds silly but I've put it in God's hands. Whenever he closes a door, he opens a window.
If you move down here with an open mind (never ever for any reason start a sentence with "well, we did it back home like.........") and you will be fine.
You'll have to adjust to a slower pace. Remember, just because we have a southern drawl and talk slow, never ever make the assumption that we are stupid.
