I need some good advice on our family vacation to Blue Hill,Maine

I put a new title on this as per reguested.

I need some good advice on our family vacation this June 19-26.We will fly into Bangor on a Sat.Our group of 15 will have a house in Blue Hill for the week. We have only been to southern Maine and that was years ago. I have a draft of what I think most of the group would like to do. Please tell me good or bad what you think.
Sat -travel
Sun -Explore Blue Hill peninsula- Booksville,Stonington, and Deer Isle for the last day of the Lupine Festival. Is the festival still going on on Sunday? Is Castine to much to include on this day?
Monday-Blue Hill to Freeport. I picked Monday hoping to avoid as much traffic as possible. What would be the best way down and back? How long will this trip be to the outlet stores. Is Hyway 1 just to slow,or could I just take part of #1? How much time is the trip from Freeport to downtown Portland? Some of us would like to see the Longfellow house and the Portland Head light.
Tues- Blue Hill to Camden-Rockport-Rockland
Wed- Blue Hill to Acadia and Bar Harbor.
Thurs- Blue Hill to Acadia and Bar Harbor.
Tues or Thurs we will take a 3-4 hour cruise for Whales/lighthouses.
Friday- Catch up day and see Castine

Again thanks for any input. This is just a draft. Other than Monday any day of events can be switched.

Don't know why you posted again AFTER this one, but since this one mentions Maine in the title, let's get this one to the top.

Be patient, and do a search for previous Maine reports.

I'd skip Freeport...too far to go for a bunch of outlet stores with so much beauty along the coast.

But if you go, I'd go back to Bangor and then take the freeway. It's about 90 min from Bangor to Freeport via freeway 95/295. Stop on the way in Augusta and see the wonderful Maine State Museum. Portland is another 20 min drive from Freeport.

Thanks for the post. I reposted to add Maine in the title... Freeport is a must for the "girls " in the group. Thanks once more for your time.
